A fully electronically managed and maintenance-free system.
Greenline Hybrid can collect, store and use electrical energy from the sun, from the shore pick-up or from the main engine driven generator. With a solar array and a Hybrid drive electric unit the yacht is a mobile power station providing a constant supply of AC power (230 or 120 VAC) on board.
The user-friendly and reliable hybrid drive system (protected) consists of the following elements:
A single switch that lets you choose between two drive modes: diesel or electric.
A modern diesel engine mutually developed with our partners.
A fully electronically managed and maintenance-free electric motor/generator (eM/G), which consumes 7 kW in the electric drive mode and provides 5 kW of electrical power when driven by the diesel engine (charging the batteries and supplying power to on-board consumers). The two components are integrated into one unit, thereby saving space and weight. The eM/G is coupled to a specifically developed gearbox with our well chosen partners.
A hydraulic clutch between the diesel engine and the electric motor/generator
A 3 kW inverter/charger that charges the battery in the shore power mode and delivers a 230 V AC power supply throughout the boat at all times.
A 1.4 kW solar array delivering green electric power to the batteries during daytime. No cost and emission-free sailing is possible at low speed
A Lithium battery pack (same as the one driving your mobile phone or laptop computer) with a capacity of 12 kWh. Lightweight and compact (seven times lighter and one third of lead battery size) these batteries are rated at thousands of cycles. With a life expectancy of 10 years they represent the best choice for a hybrid boat.
Protected Super displacement Hull Design Exceptional low-drag hull shape derived from sailboat hull lines
less resistance and easier handling than any comparable hull
reduced energy requirement means less running costs, less refueling stops and more time for cruising
less wake and CO2 emissions preserving the environment
optimal performance in all sea conditions
comfortable and safe ride
Hull in one-piece laminate in polyester resin using the injection technology
The deck is built using the same technique as the hull, but in sandwich using hard PVC foam as core material with a teak deck finish.
5 Berths in 2 Cabins
This boat has been modified to suit the owners need for disable access with an extra double door on the port side and 2 grab rails inside.
Entering from the port door you have the very spacious deck, from here you can walk around the boat with its wide decks and enter the main saloon through a sliding door. There is also a door to starboard for access and the large bathing platform tailgate which can be lowered with a remote control.
Entering the SALOON it is light and airy with a very spacious feel due to large windows on every side letting in lots of natural light. There are large sofas on each side with a large unfixed folding table. The table can fold down and covert the stb sofa into a double berth. Leaving the port sofa as a single berth. Next to the port sofa is a small cupboard which houses the main switch panel. The boat has recessed lighting throughout with Ivory ceilings.
Turning back to the aft on the starboard side you have the GALLEY. To create a more open environment you can open the aft wall opening up the galley, saloon and deck to create one big open space. The foldable extending worktop folds outwards to the cockpit held by to sliding arms. Built into the worktop you have a electric ceramic stove with 2 burners, a Sharp Microwave/Oven, 1 sink with cover, mixer tap, 2 cupboards and 2 draws. 1 Double 230v plug socket. Above the galley you have more storage cupboards. Opposite the galley you have a 270Ltr fridge and freezer unit with cupboard door fronts. Attached to the freezer unit it a TV holder for a small flat screen TV.
Moving forward you have the HELM to starboard with a large helm bench seat with storage underneath. The helm has all main engine instrumentation including controls for the bow, stern thruster, JVC cd/radio player, 12v socket, holder for manuals, Garmin Chart plotter, Raymarine Bidata and much more.
Moving forward down 2 steps you have a large wardrobe to port and opposite you have the HEAD. The head has 2 doors, one from the saloon and one from the main cabin. Inside you have an electric flush toilet, washbasin, standing shower unit with hot and cold pressurized water and 2 soft shower curtains. Shower drain and pump, 4 storage cupboards, 1 large mirror, 1 small window with soft curtain. Shaver point.
Moving into the FORWARD CABIN. With lots of floor and head room it feels very airy and spacious with windows on each side. As you enter you have 2 small wardrobes on each side. The bed has a very clever design feature and it can either be 2 singles or one double bed. Underneath the cushions are 2 wooden shelves which can be easily moved into place. You can slide them together to make the double bed and all you have to do is turn over the cushions and zip it up and use the Velcro to hold in place. To turn into singles simply unzip the cushions flip them over and slide the shelves apart. The shelves also have small storage compartments. There are 8 birds nest cupboards around the window line and 2 reading lights. An escape hatch is located above the beds and leads to the front deck.
