The vessel has been in the current ownership since 2012. Last survey in water in August 2012, and prior to that out of water in May 2012, at which time the craft was declared to be fully insurable. She was last out of the water in November 2013 at which time the hull and base plate were painted with bitumen and the anodes were found OK.
Hull & Exterior.
Material / build: All steel. Thicknesses: 10 / 6 / 4mm
Exterior: Black bitumen painted hull to rubbing band. Gloss black from rubbing band through side decks, with non slip finish to side decks. Cabin sides in green with red outlining. Roof in pale green.
Windows: Combination of fixed portholes aft and timber framed full hopper opening and a pair of opening side doors to port.
Forward well: Rope fender. Steel cants. ‘T’ stud. Gas locker containing 1 x 13kg and 1 x 7kg gas bottles. (Capable of housing 2 x 13kg). Self draining steel well deck. Timber topped seats / lockers to either side. Solid forward bulkhead with timber framed drop hopper window.
Roof: Integral steel handrails. Sliding hatch over side doors. Two large timber constructed storage boxes. 2 ‘pigeon’ boxes. Centre cleat, 3 ventilators. 3 large solar panels mounted on pivoting bases.
Aft deck: Semi traditional style. Rope fender, 2 mooring dollies, steel cants, diesel filler. Tiller steering. Inset hatch in aft deck giving access to weed hatch below. A feature of the semi trad section is that it can be closed off with a large almost full width section of roof which incorporates a conventional siding hatch, thus converting it to a traditional style. Storage lockers to either side.
Lining - floor to gunwale: Diagonal varnished tongue and groove
