Classic wooden Enterprise, 1962, sail number E5743.
Complete with road trailer.
All wood including the mast.
Constructed in 1962 by Jack Holt of Putney.
Still in full working order, last sailed on 21st June 2014, but in need of a proper restoration.
The hull is in good condition with no rotten areas but both paint and varnish need to be stripped and re-applied properly.
I have managed to keep the water out but I do not have an enclosed area in which I can paint and varnish out of the weather.
This dinghy will suit anyone who is keen to do a restoration but wants to sail this summer and do the work later.
Owned by the same family for 50 years, my father bought her in 1964, second hand, she was constructed in 1962 by Jack Holt of Putney.
There are still Jack Holt markings on the transom and the centreboard.
Almost entirely original equipment, original wooden mast and boom, original rudder and centreboard, The tiller and battens have been replaced.
A full, over-the-boom cover is included and is in good condition.
The boat can be seen, and sailed, at Emberton Park Sailing Club.
The trailer is in reasonable condition, going rusty but can be used on the road and has been used this season.
I have many photographs which I can email to you if required, and if you are interested in any specific parts I can take additional photos.
If you want a classic Enterprise that can be used for sailing straight away before restoring over the winter then this could be the perfect boat for you.
