Don Quixote is a Dutch Oostzeetjalk built in 1898, however she was professionally re-fitted during 2007/8/9. Before the internal re fit, a new Scania DS8 engine and gearbox, prop and stern gear, hydraulic steering system, diesel tanks, water tanks, gas locker, bow thruster, skylights, spray foam insulation and additional steelwork were all completed at a Dutch shipyard.
